Description
BFM is a stand-alone modification to arma 3 that Brings nearly 30 retextured vehicles to the game, as well as ported vehicles from arma 2, over 10 custom weapons made from the ground up and 9 new factions to play as.

The focus of the mod is to bring the Brazilian armed forces to the 2035 armaverse setting. However, BFM also adds complementary BLUEFOR, INDEPENDENT and OPFOR factions for you to raise havoc on the battlefield.

Content:
The mod adds to the game the 3 main brazilian armed forces branches (Army, Air Force and Navy), as well as retextures Arma 3's vanilla AAF faction so Brazilian players can play Multiplayer games (such as wasteland, or Liberation, for example) with a vanilla Brazilian faction.

In addition, it also Adds 5 New factions to the game, those being: NATO (south America) - A detachment of nato troops to operate in south America, composed by British, French, American and Canadian troops. Located under > BLUEFOR; British Armed Forces - A Armaverse version of the british armed forces, made with vanilla assets. Located under > BLUEFOR; South Atlantic Treaty (SAT) - the Armed Forces of Venezuela funded and equiped by CSAT. Located under > OPFOR; Drug Traffic - A few narco-traffic gangs. Located under > OPFOR; and Colombian Guerrilla - a colombian resistance movement. Located under > INDEPENDENT.

Most of these extra factions have their own retextured uniforms and assets. The mod Adds a total of 24 new Weapons to play with, including Assault Rifles, Light Machineguns, Sniper Rifles and Pistols. 10 of them made from the ground-up and 14 of them ported from arma 2.

AK-74 (+ GL Version), Ak-74U, Colt M4A1; Colt M16A3 (+ GL Version), Colt 1911, FN Minimi, Glock 17, HK 416D, Imbel ia2 7.62 (+GL versions), Imbel ia2 5.56; Imbel Para-Fal (M964), M-60, M24 Remington and M40A5 Remington.

Launchers list:

Carl Gustaf M2, Igla, M-47, Metis, RPG-7, Stinger.

Many with different customization options, different textures and attachments. (except for the ones ported from arma 2).

This mod is perfect for missions regarding brazil and south america in 2035 and beyond scenarios.

This mod works with retextures from the vanilla Arma 3, as well as adding some ported arma 2 vehicles. It also fully retextures the vanilla AAF, so obviously, it doesn't work with any other mod that modifies or retextures that faction.

The change was made since, in the brazilian army, heavy Tanks and armored fighting vehicles generally use the NATO Woodland pattern. Whereas the lighter vehicles (such as the guarani APC, the m113 and a few others use the Brazilian jungle pattern.);

*New Armor: Gepard Mk.2 (Chee

tah) Anti-Air Armored Vehicle and M109A5-BR (scorcher) self-propelled howitzer added to Brazilian Army (2035) in NATO Woodland camouflage patterns.
