This is the 4th 8.0 release. This file is mod-foldered and it uses 7z based compression. Actual space un-compressed is about 957MB and can be played in four configurations. Please read the read-me folder to follow through on installation instruction. It is recommended that the user has more than 4GB of memory to run this mod. And uses Rome:Total War/Barbarian-Invasion RTW/BI 1.6, as is available through the Rome:Total War Gold Edition or purchase from Steam

A new upload has been added to ModDB to resolve faulty animation memory access issue, and the Amazon Frontier Cavalry is getting new UVW mapping and new skin.
New models also have been created for Amazon Heavy Standard Bearer , Amazon Generals.
This is to announce that another upload is on its way.
Changes are
1. New phalanx pike infantry for Themiskyra, Thrace, Spain, Seleucid, and Carthage
2. New drugged induced berserker infantry units for Thrace and Germany, but only geographically available in Dacia and Thrace.
3. major revamping of unit built-time
4. Newly added fertility cult in Thrace and nearby mountain regions.
5. 2nd publishing of Lani's Chinese and oriental texts, I was told these are greatly enhanced and many translations are now more culturally based instead of based on literal translation.
For our Chinese players, I just want to say that Lani is not an RTW user, nor was she familiar with any ancient warfare, so it took sometime for her to learn the actual meanings of certain technical terms in English first. Since I have been to Central Asia and Northwestern China on quite a few anthropology trips and archaeological digs with her, I can tell you that she has done some truly remarkable work.
A new upload has started to corrected the Amazon Character animation, also the animation for the Female "Gunner" as well as Amazon Noble Cavalry have been changed to be more consistent with the 8.0 scheme.

Erika ran the new release through the auto test matrix as well as manual test, and the following bugs have been discovered, and some have already been fixed.
1 - Libyan archer has wrong hair color
2 - Amazon Rebel peasant also has wrong texture
3 - Libyan Amazon Scout has been missing from the recruitment table
4 - Geothe Amazon foot archer has wrong size waist band
5 - Libyan Amazon's finnic archer has arrows in the quiver, but the shoot iron encased lead block
6 - Carthaginian Vestal Virgin archers had wrong face
7 - Libyan took the first quest objective, and the general would be getting all the titles
8 - Carthage "horse shrine has warning, do not display..." this text message
9 - Amazon militia cavalry is show animation with javelin, but launches throwing axe a missile instead.

hello there my good modders of the amazones :)
I had this thought about voices and sounds. would it be possible for you to collect sound tips and apply them to fit the characters. i think it would give a more charming atmosphere when ordering units around the field and on map. maybe you could find it in movies other games, record them yourself or ask for the players to send in sound clips they made themselves for you to choose from. Same with battle speeches and maybe even new mini movies about areas and events etc.
just some ideas even though I know that it's a lot!
have fun continuing the game development :) ;)
Revision #17 has been uploaded to ModDB, the new release
1.corrects CTD errors mostly associated with the Scythian.
2.make new female units (Maenedian Fanatics, for example) widely available in the rebellion.
3.implemented optimized animation from Pea, Amazon militia units are now much more streamlined.
A new update has been added to correct the rebel faction's access to the new female units.
Also as an indirect result due to a report from Alavaria at TWC, the text description for the Amazon generals have been updated.
8.0D finally got its own promotional video.
New download is now available to streamline the language translations.
