Description
Age of Chivalry: Hegemony replaces or significantly alters each of the civilizations in Age of Empires II, while adding a number of new ones, allowing the player to control Central and Western European states. Many new units and technologies have been added and gameplay dynamics have been changed considerably in this complete overhaul of Age of Empires II. This new beta release fixes many bugs and balance issues and improves a number of building graphics, implementing full graphical replacements for the Dutch and Baltic states. Many new objects have been added to the editor for scenario designers.

What version of Age of Empires II do you have installed?
Does it work on AoE II HD?
No and it won't, it's not designed for HD and it's not possible to play this mod with AoE 2 HD. Sorry.

I made any mistake during installation.
What is the solution?
Have the 2.0 version and still getting the same problem. Says data backup could not be found or something. And everything else says its a successful install, but the vanilla remains unchanged
What does it change from 1.99?
Correct me if i'm wrong but overall it just adds new graphics for buildings and some new objects. The history section for Hungary and Naples is also finished. There is probably more to it, but this it all I could find from my quick glance of it.

The news article describes the most significant changes. A lot of them may be small and not noticeable, the completed Baltic and Low Countries' sets will be the most easily visible change, but all in all there's been dozens of new graphics added in this version (look through the screenshots I posted over the past six months to see more of them). They mostly serve to polish what was already there but should make the game more enjoyable.
Well, time to see if the AI wont kill me in thirty minutes.

Also the new buildings are beautiful, but the best part is that I can survive the game again (Either that or constantly getting destroyed made me a better player).

Nope, this is a full version, as the file description says.
For some reason, I can't build any galleys, galleons, or any kind of attacking ships in my games. Is this a bug? Or did I just accidentally turn them off or something. Is anyone else having this problem?
There are no galleons in Age of Chivalry, but galleys and a number of other attacking ships, like demolition ships and privateers, appear on the second training page of the dock (as in regular AoK). I can't replicate any problems with their availability, they seem to train fine.
Ohh! I never noticed the 'second training page' in neither Age of Kings or Age of Chivalry. Perhaps its because me and my friends never play on naval maps :P Thanks!
is there a ai mod that i can download that =gives the ally ai more commands?
like attack a certain target, defend me, send troops to this location, build more ..., ect

This is the best mod that i ever played..

I suspect you installed the 1.0c patch prior to installing the mod. However, that particular version of the game already had the 1.0c patch installed and will ask for the CD if you install it again. So you need to uninstall and make sure not to install the 1.0c patch on a version of the game that already has the 1.0c patch installed.

Is it possible to play this excellent mod without the Barbarian AI folder in this? Don't get me wrong, the Barbarian AI is a great challenge, but I like to go slow in this game and the AI is just to fast for my taste. By far the best mod for this game.

HD does not support complex mods like Age of Chivalry, unfortunately.
Very interesting, and very sad at the same time. I really hope they expand modding tools eventually, otherwise I won't be able to play your mod! :(
