Some of which include:
Trinity Corvette added for the Vaygr.
Gun Frigates revamped, for both sides.
Point Defense weapons redone for all frigates.
Build-able defense weapons for carriers.
New model for the Hiigaran Point Defense Missile turret.
Trails on missiles reduced to lessen combat "clutter".
A different, animated, model for the Rapier missile.
Fixed flak explosions to be single bursts instead of combos.
Added animated missile hatches to the Support Destroyer, Hiigaran.
Added animated missile hatches to the Light Cruiser, Hiigaran.
Another price rearrangement, mainly for fighters to frigates.
Nlips disabled, fully.
AI updated.
And much more.

Me and my friend can't play this, we get a constant out of sync error once we start a game.
That is most unfortunate, I haven't gone into multiplayer in a long time, and as such, haven't made sure multiplayer is supported by the mod. I don't know why it wouldn't work, you could try using the .big version.
