Description

Huge update here's a list of some of the new features: 1) New Castles and Cities. Several factions have a new look to them. 2) Great Britain is larger for gameplay reasons, also added more settlements to the region. Should provide much better gameplay. 3) New Faction- Bulgaria is now in the game with unique quality units to boot. 4) Cumans roster redone, they look super cool. It's more of a western Cumania look/Slavic. You can still get Kypach looking units a little further east. 5) In the spirit of Keiv I touched up their roster, models were the same but the textures really enhanced the faction. Also added a settlement for them. 6) Venice is now Venice again, took flack for changing them before. 7) Start date is 1191 also working toward making the mod more accurate with history, much has been changed so check out the new mod overhaul.

Perhaps the coolest looking mod for M2TW to date, exceptional unit appearances, exceptional overall.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful work of art.

Teutonic Order did not control Danzig at that time. They took control over the city in XIV century.

Fantastic mod, one of the best for Medieval 2 in my opinion. The units look fantastic and the factions are well balanced. As for criticism, I would say the campaign is just a bit too slow-paced (turn times) and the unit recruitment and building construction times are a bit too long.

Thanks for the feedback, I may make another script to speed things up and shorter build ques like I did with one of the earlier builds.

I'm trying to play the mod but I keep getting crashes to desktop for unspecified reasons whenever I try to start a campaign. Any advice ?

I wish I could help but it works on my machine fine (windows 10). And others obviously as well. Maybe the dl got corrupted somehow during the process. I'm assuming you're putting it in your mod folder and launching through the bat or renaming a kingdoms folder? Also delete any old versions if you have any.

I'm renaming a kingdoms folder atm because the bat can not find my kingdoms exe even though I made one. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because mods had always worked for me.

Some feedback: Bulgaria is rightfully portrayed as "Empire" as it was, but in game, the faction leader has the title of "King", when it should be Emperor.

The city of Varna should be located south from where it is. Right on the East from Preslav, where the port is located. You've basically put it in modern day Romania, far north from where it should be. Same for Ovech. It should be right in the middle from Tarnovo and Varna. All 3 settlements should basically be right east of each other. Varna on the coast, Tarnovo where it is, and Ovech right inbetween both of them.

Also, it crashes when I pick a faction in Campaign often. Hopefully it gets fixed as it looks really nice.

Hey thanks for the feedback, I thought I was closer with the map details. Any suggestions on cities that would be more appropriate for the general locations that are listed for Varna and Ovech? Adjusting the map in that region would be a much larger project than I want to invest in. Also unsure why you're crashing on the faction selection screen. I can hit several different with no issues. Maybe try compatibility win 7.
