This Saturday will see the Los Angeles Convention Centre become home to the Virtual Reality LA Winter Expo. In an interview with UploadVR, VRLA founder Cosmo Scharf says he expects the Winter Expo to be the largest in VRLA's history, with an expected 3,000 attendees and 71 exhibitors.
Among those exhibitors will be Survios, a developer who will be offering a first look at its secretive VR project. According to the interview, Survios' game is a co-operative experience in which two players, each wearing a HTC Vive headset, will fend off waves of oncoming enemies.
Also attending will be NVIDIA, who is expected to be showcasing its near-eye light field displays, as well as Starbreeze, who will be showcasing its StarVR headset. Crytek will also be showcasing its VR rock climbing simulator, The Climb.
Tickets are available from the Virtual Reality LA website, but are selling out quickly. According to Scharf, the next VRLA expo will be back at the LA Convention Centre, and could be even larger than this Saturday's Winter Expo.
