The Phoenix Project (aka PHOENIX; formerly 7Killers and then Killer Studios) is a games studio based in Portugal and also operates in the United Kingdom. They have created projects such as "Zombies Ate My Neighbours: GoldSrc Edition," "Lost and Dead," "Lost and Dead Classic," "Massacre 1999," "Wii Deleted You: The Text Game," "Portal Enhanced" and other projects such as the upcoming Lost and Dead episodic series.

History

In September 2017, lone modder Rafael Soares was creating a modification for Half-Life called "TOY SOLDIERS." Rafael was having fun with the level design but struggled with creating the properties for the modification itself. He went onto the Half-Life discussions on Steam in search for help and modder & community member Dise said he would help. They worked on the mod and in October 2017, 7Killers was founded and they released their first project: "Lost and Dead."
