Hello. I browsed this website cursorily in search of like-minded developers, and your artful avatar caught my eye. Point-and-click games are among my favourites of all time; I dream up levels for Curse of Monkey Island (my second favourite of all time) in my sleep, and I've analyzed the music in Deponia and King's Quest VII.
I am currently preoccupied with the task of finding games to score. Unlike other composers, I will work for free if it gives me a chance to build my portfolio; music was never a means to an end, but the end in and of itself. Survival was only the means.
I hope, therefore, that my self-promotion here will be taken in the humble spirit that it is proffered; know that you don't need to accommodate greedy and envious competitors for the job, and if my style should disappoint you, I would sooner refer you to a competent colleague than to lead you on with false promises.
By the same token, if composition is not a void to be filled for you at this time, do not be afraid to contact my account with referrals to your own peers. We are all artists, trying to realize our moral and aesthetic potential together. What more is composition? What more is game-playing?
At any rate, it beats doing grunt work at a studio or worse a restaurant. I am not unrealistic. You can't put a price on what is most valuable.
