This upscale pack for Witchaven consists of 4 parts for any combination of selections.
whtextures4x.zip: includes:-
- Complete wall, floor, and ceiling tiles (4x)
- Complete object sprites (4x)
- Effect / animation sprites
- Menu graphics and message font
whenemies3x.zip: includes:-
- Enemy sprites (complete with subspecies for single player; unused enemies omited)
whweapons.zip: includes:-
- Complete HUD weapon sprites
- Some parts of status bar used in WitchavenGDX
whmult_addon.zip: This adds multiplayer only graphics missing from other packs. It's completely optional. You don't need this pack at all if you don't play multiplayer game.
Improvements from R2 :-
- More refined tile textures -- revised with 2x upscale twice
- most "seams" between tiles are removed -- original textures were pre-tiled before upscaling, then finally cropped out afterward.
- Miscellaneous additional upscale of graphics, some with retouches.
Other changes:-
- Pack separated into 3 individual sets for user selection.
- Removal of the upscale of graphics that currently aren't used by WitchavenGDX

Just one little bug I have noticed. When a spider bites you and you are poisoned, the menu colours are broken and whatever weapon you are holding also.
Otherwise, perfect from what I see!
Hello. first I must apologize you for very late reply. I did these upscale jobs as hobby and now I took break on it over a year recently due to a health problem, hope you understand.
As for the issue with spider poisoning, could you please be more specific? because I didn't find the mentioned problem before with Polymost renderer (are you using classic renderer?). Does it also happen without the upscale pack being used ? The actual Spider poisoning behavior in original WH is that you're supposed to see the game world and weapon being held in doubled image like stereoscopic picture, otherwise means you're having problem with either your game renderer or graphic diver doesn't work with it correctly, the upscale textures can't actually cause rendering artifact. They only cause game to crash or just gone missing if they overload too much for your system to handle. You may want to consult the problem with M210, the author of BuildGDX. I can only help you with very limited technical support of his job.

I have tested this on BuilgGDX 1.6, the latest version, with PolyGDX and it works perfectly, without any distorted colours. :)
