A few months ago, seeing the war news on Eastern Europe, I wanted something that conveys this infamy; a friendly country, invaded by its powerful neighbour: so, as modder, what's better than to reproduce virtually what is happening there: i suppose, probably a need to transcend this so close tragedy: a kind of catharsis...

the idea came to me to create a Ukrainian team; not completely but from an existing Russian team: and I found one, not very well known, in the Demon mod, which I thank here for allowing me this daring transposition !!

Luckily, today we have a very well-documented conflict, thanks to the informations of conflict specialists, but also to the smartphones of the belligerents who do not hesitate to share about their difficult situation:

this is how I realized at how heterogeneous Ukrainian equipment is: thus, it became very interesting to equip the team with varied camouflage costumes, with weapons from various sources: each of the seven soldiers could thus acquire a personality quite distinct from the others: that said, creating a team has never been my specialty, and you will notice that not everything is perfect; but, on the whole, and for myself, it may be fine: it is also because it almost doesn't exist a consistent Ukrainian team that I have decided to share it with you all: if you wish , do not hesitate to modify it; it doesn't matter to me!

The team is, as usual, calibrated for BF2 v1.50; for this, it was necessary for me to include the "rebel" voice lines from the xpack, in the files: don't forget to use everything well, to have the flags, the music, etc, etc!

Ukraine AF not uses "flora" camo!

"Flora" - pedorussian camo 1998 year! Ukrainian forces uses "Butan" camouflage (1984), it was replaced by MM14 and partly on MTP

EMR (uniform and gear)
ATACS-FG (uniform SF & recon units)
Multicam (very popular, is bought by fighters with their own funds)
Ukraine Forces camo:

The models and textures are really nice, the only thing that I think is a little unrealistic is that all the kits' geometries have night vision/infrared goggles, specially if this was intended to be regular infantry.
Yes, it's true; I thought of that too; perhaps to be reserved for "end of day" maps ? Lol; I'm tempted to do a version with a naked Mich ...
I removed the goggles and the gadgets attached in the helmet with the bf mesh viewer, looked really nice. You could do a version without the attachments for regular infantry and a version with them for a spec ops like unit, like the ukrainian spetsnaz or the Azov battalion.

You can only delete objects with the mesh viewer, to add or move the geometries you have to use 3dsmax.

MM14 type camouflage texture is now generalized in place of the flora, as well as the possibility of having a version without night vision/infrared goggles for regular infantry and a version with it for a spec ops like unit, like the ukrainian spetsnaz.
the two files, ua_kits.skinnedmesh to swap, are located in the kits folder

hello DIAV333L, very kind but I just finished the "Multicam" camouflage texture; it is used, as you know, by the Ukrainian army but also by the international legion: I added the corresponding insignia; you can therefore make yourself a complete team of legionnaires, if necessary! cheers !!
