Hello everyone, this is the termal vision from aix2 minimod, work very nice without bugs
Installation :
Just put the files in common_server.zip and menu_server.zip and common_client.zip
Install the effects and textures into objects_client.zip
Add the lines into DummyObjectsXpack.con into your existing file DON'T REPLACE OR IT WILL BROKE THE ZIPELINE AND GRAPPLIN
Open the files "OPEN ME" and you just need to add
run TR/TR_HudUpd.con
Into "HudSetupMain.con"
And
run "TR/TR_Comm.con"
Into "HudSetupCommunication.con"
So you have done the installation....

Yes because you need to add a GUIINDEX to the script
If you don't know what is the a GUIINDEX, look here :

So take the GUIINDEX you want to add the thermal vision, let's take the BTR90 (GUIIDEX 33)
Go to Menu_server.zip\HUD\HudSetup\TR\
And open :
TR_TIS_landvehicle_guis.tweak (this is for enable termal vision)
ADD this :
hudBuilder.setNodeLogicShowVariable OR GuiIndex 33
Open :
TR_TIS_landvehicle_not.tweak (this is for disable the "go go go")
ADD this :
hudBuilder.setNodeLogicShowVariable NOT GuiIndex 33

This is the same way for the aircraft, just open TR_TIS_airvehicle_guis.tweak and vice versa

The script comes with many guiindex into it, so look into the files if you have already or not the guiidex you want to add

I love the vision ends I always wanted to install in my mod THANK YOU But I have problems !!! when I deactivate the thermal vision the whole environment turns green and the vehicles-soldiers-weapons turn yellow. I need your help !!! eh followed the installation as it should be .. what did I do wrong?

Emiliomau your are pretty good in 3d model, I can't use 3dsmax, i don't know to use it, You should make a tutorial for use it, did you know of to generate lightmaps with 3dsmax ?

advane1cpro this is because you didn't had your guiindex into the 2 .con , one it's for enable the thermal vision, the 2nd it's for disable the "go go go" button
I do what you has been told when a want to activated the thermal it just fine but when i want to deactivated the thermal the "go go go" button show up prevent me turn off the thermal
advane1cpro should work if you have installed correctly, i have test on few mods and it's work, after i don't know if it's work with python script or custom common rose, maybe that

Hi I've Experienced a bug about here after i added new hud for weapons when i turn on the thermal imaging and when i get off in the vehicle the thermal image stays then when i turn it off everything turns into green like in Night Vision Goggles please help me fix it sir

Bro, thanks for the mod. It works. I have 2 questions:
1 - if I use on a HUD with PostProcess and switch to another HUD, it will turn green. Do you know the solution? I guess it should be in tis_off.con and tis_on.con.
2 - how to add it to Handheld weapons?

I still don't understand the GUIINDEX part. When I opened TR_TIS_landvehicle_guis.tweak, all of the "hudBuilder.setNodeLogicShowVariable OR GuiIndex [XX]" are already there. Do I need to delete all the other ones and leave just 1 for each class or what?
This is in menu_server.zip btw. I copied the files from your mod to the menu_server.zip as you instructed.
Edit: Okay, I think I did something right. My Go! Go! Go! button is replaced by menu_comrose_thermalsight or something like that. Another thing I noticed is that a lot of the menu items in-game (like the change class and select squad menu) are unclickable. I'll try and investigate later why.
