Upscale pack for Shadow Warrior - upscaled using ESRGAN. Compatible with VoidSW, BuildGDX and Raze.
Updates since previous version
- Filter folder has been added for Raze, no need to use BAT file anymore
- Skyboxes have been added
- Ninja and coolie sprites had their faces, belt buckles and chains touched up
- Almost all first person weapon sprites have been re-upscaled, additionally, palswap 08 has been added (used by Twin Dragon's Toxic Waste level)
- a small number of tiles with palette 04 has been added
- Some decorative sprites have been re-upscaled
- DEF files for indexed hightiles have been added, note that these are not used by default
While this isn't as thorough as the Duke ERP, I hope this will be an enjoyable visual enhancement to the game!
Thank you for this pack, works well with VoidSW. I hope you'll find some time in the future to add upscales of the textures as well.
Not any time soon. The upscale process itself isn't terribly time consuming, it's in reviewing the results and picking out the best method, and in certain cases edit multiple results together.
Looks great! Even just upscaling the weapons and enemies adds so much to the game, visually.

got this working in zeta touch by simply selecting it from the mod menu before launching shadow warrior (along with a high quality audio mod : Moddb.com ) and am having a great time. Thanks for the mod and good luck on future projects.
