A compilation of 6 classic POE, mostly infarty,
maps made for XPACK mod (Special Forces) + cataly63's UA team
6 maps originally made for POE.
Different Game modes (16/32/64) have been collected and recompiled
to play many maps sizes. Had them for a long time. Upload
them now because they suit well to Cataly63's UA soldiers and the Special Forces Spetsnaz.
Necessities:
Xpack Mod (Special Forces - RU Spetsnaz)
UA soldier addon
Deliverance (16/32)

Installation:
drag the "levels" folder into Xpack (possibly make a copy of xpack first to keep the original files save).
You must have installed the UA faction in the xpack mod to play those maps.
You can also use them for other mods, but you have to adjust the Init.con file.
The current init is set to Spetsnaz vs UA
Credits:
All credits are going to the POE team and the unknown Map makers and Navmeshers.
This is just a recompilation of their cool stuff. All rights stay to the original creators.
Permissions:
POE stuff is free of use.
It recently surprised me when a POE map pack was removed,
even many mods uses their stuff. If you are one of the original creators,
and have complains or want to have it removed, please contact me
first here on Moddb.

Pack might not be perfect and includes bugs and glitches.
example: Orel 64 sometimes crashes, some vehicles might not suit to the faction.
Fix it for yourselves. I don't take any warranties.

there was recently a pack for bigger POE maps "Rebalance Axis POE2 Msps" but it was removed. Hmm??
very good idea this port to bf2/xpack: as poe maps are often of very good quality, it was worth it; uh uh, we can still see that my little soldiers are not of the same generation; anyway, these maps definitely deserve to be in a recent mod, don't they?!thx my friend

This is true. We even use quite a few maps in BG44 as many maps are perfect even for ww2 as they use older style or rural buildings. Olesko Keep is such a fun map.

Do these maps work well on the original version of Battlefield 2 ?

They will work with org. BF2 and other mods.
But you need to have Xpack mod for the Special Forces Spetsnaz installed
or change the factions in the Init.con file of the map.
