Removes all enemies from Mirror's Edge story levels
This here little mod completely removes all cops/blues/SWAT/snipers/etc from the game, allowing you to play entirely at your own pace. Take screenshots in otherwise really fiddly places! Enjoy the view! Don't get frustrated by shoehorned in and sub-par combat!
All you have to do is replace the files in your game folder with the ones in the download link at the bottom, simple copypasta job. Might be worth backing up the files you're going to replace in case you want the blues back, alternatively a steam file validation will probably fix it.
(I can't gaurentee that you won't find any problems with your game after installing this; it is, after all, tearing a large chunk out of the game to make it subjectively better. Energic music and appropiete sounds will probably still play in the retrospective places* and in some areas, you may get stuck or simply crash the game. nothing irreversable)
*unless you follow these 2 steps:
1. Navigate to "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\CookedPC\Audio" (If you have the retail version, not steam) or C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\mirrors edge\TdGame (if you have the steam version)
2. Move all files to another folder/delete them EXCEPT ones starting with A_M_.
This should remove nearly all other audio in the game, apart from the quiet ambience music. I don't use this myself, so results may vary.
If you find that it doesn't work after replacing the files, make triple sure you have replaced ALL the files in your game folder with their respective replacements from the modpack.

lmao why don't you just remove the packages completely instead of just removing the models inside the packages
^ lmao
I mean I kinda want more enemies in the game honestly. Wish someone would make a patch like that <3
i cant finish chapter 1
Uh, is it just me or you didn't use the right directory? I now have two different "CookedPC" folder in two different layers.
Ah forget it, used it and the game crashed when the mall police are supposed to show up... guess it has something to do with the elevator gimmick.
the cops are still there when I use this. except they're all in T-pose, unable to move or attack me, unless I run into them.
