(Version v1.1)
A PSD-format or XCF-format template for the MiG-35. Includes a separate MREC file.
The image file has the following contents:
Decals Layers - Recreation of warning labels and other details on the aircraft
Unpainted Layers - Details from the original textures which are not painted, like the cockpit or landing gear
Note: The numbers refer to the original skin texture used to create the layer
UV Map - The boundaries of the aircraft model
Panels/Weathering - Details like panel lines, rust, grime, etc. that make the appearance more realistic
m35d_00_MREC_CLEAN.tga - A clean MREC file, which determines how the game lights the aircraft
m35d_00_MREC_CLEAN_FORMLIGHTS.tga - A clean MREC file, which has added formation lights
m35d_00_N_FORMLIGHTS.png - A normal map file, which has added formation lights
mask_formlights_color.png - A component mask for the color portion of the formation lights
mask_formlights_bg.png - A component mask for the background portion of the formation lights
INSTRUCTIONS
Place your layers below the Panels/Weathering layer and other detail/highlights layers, above the Base Color layer.
Use Unpainted00 for all skins. To closely match the original skins' appearances, use the
additional Unpainted00 layer as well. To enable coloring of unpainted areas,
disable the Unpainted00 layer with the appropriate name.
When using the Formation Lights layers, disable the Red Decals layer and enable the Red Decals Alt layer.
Be sure to use the appropriate MREC and normal map, or your skin may not appear correctly.
If using GIMP, use the Bucket tool to change the color of included layers.
