LED Flashlight mod README

DESCRIPTION
What's This About?
This is a pretty straight forward and simple mod, I designed it for myself,
But I thought other people might be interested in it as well so I figured I'd throw it
on here. I was always bothered by how much the flashlight illuminates the surroundings,
it would completely destroy that fear of the dark you SHOULD get in a haunted, abandoned
military base, or in a deserted village at midnight. This mod attempts to emphasize this,
making it so even with it on you still get the intense feeling of not knowing what's out there.
Whats it do?
It does what you'd expect, makes the flashlight very accurately representation of
an LED tactical light. It sharply decreases the radius of the light as well as giving it
a much longer range.
INSTALLATION
(Optional but HIGHLY RECCOMENDED)Backup original Light_night file found in:
C:Program FilesTHQS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobylgamedataconfigmodelsobjects
Extract the new Light_night onto your desktop
Copy it and put it in the location listed above
There you have it
BUGS/INCOMPATIBILITIES
Absolutely positively no bugs, all it does is change a few numbers around in Light_night, which exclusively is
used for the flashlight
The only drawback is a very minor one, since I didn't change the actual texture of the flashlight, shining on some
surfaces you'll get the rings around the center of the beam which aren't present on true LED flashlights, but unless
it's on a completely flat surface and you are perpendicular to it, you probably won't even notice, I don't.
Obviously will be incompatible with any other flashlight modification
LEGAL
Redistribute this if you want to, but give me credit for making it.
Enjoy!
I commented on your GameFront upload too, but I just want to show support for this awesome 'lil flashlight mod.
It's super immersive, and I always felt something was being taken away with all these powerful, wide flashlight mods which just floodlight the area.
Lil video I made showcasing it Streamable.com
