This mod will add improved and more immersive vehicle camera for FPS gameplay.
Idea is to make 1st Person Vehicle camera provide feeling of actually being in the vehicles. This means adjusting camera position to match actual viewing ports position. There are two HUDs, One being commander's panoramic sights, while other being gunner's aiming sights. The position of camera and type of gunner sights are not 100% matching real life counterparts. But it was made with game limitation and gameplay reasons in mind.
Note:
- Trucks and infantry still have vanilla values (no change).
- All artillery pieces now have "drone" view camera. Since vanilla was out of place and has to be above, now at least it looks like a drone view.
- All crosshairs are made primary to work best with ingame "Hardcore" gameplay mode.
- All crosshairs have just cosmetic balistic values, they do not provide actual balistic drop. The game itself does not use real life balistic values.
Known issues:
- Due to current game limitations, you might experience model clipping.
- Sometimes, barrel/turret can "lock" it self into some direction instead of following your crosshair. To fix this just start moving vehicle into any direction.
- Most of vehicles when firing main gun have muzzle effect way too big and blocks the screen. This is because of vanilla game muzzle design. In future I'll try to alter muzzle sizes. UPDATE: Currently rifles and handheld LMGs have better muzzle FX. Stationary weapons and auto-cannons improvement should come in future updates.
