friend, you will not have a huey helicopter
or more weapons of the Vietnam War?
Okay in terms of more weps etc i'm only using what the mod creators used and honestly it does need an update for this to happen some vehicles for example have col mesh issues etc..i tested lots of what was there before i built the map had to leave out certain items otherwise there would not be a playable map at this time..so fingers crossed maybe one day the originators or modding team will update it with loads more cool stuff
if i heard that that mod has many errors
yh well it's a great MOD and even the very best out there will have some code errors etc here and there..but all this mod needs is just a general update to fix a few things and it will be amazing in all regards for everyone.

Hey okay understand..there are lots of tutorials on creating new weapon classes and adding new kits online..just be careful how you modify any files that belong to the game or mod itself otherwise it may cause the game to become unstable and crash..here's tutorial links to check out..

I love Vietnam based content. Most of the FPS games I played 10 to 15 years ago were Vietnam based. EoD is also one of my favorite mods, so am looking forwards to checking this one out. Thanks for all the work you do. I'll give it a rating just as soon as I've had time to play the map. I'm still working through a ton of vanilla maps that I've installed.
Okay that's great EOD is also one of my fav mods for Battlefield 2, will definitely make a few more maps for the Mod :)
The mod was created by a single guy who at the time had a young family. He spend years creating the mod, originally for Battlefield 1942, then updated to be used in Battlefield Vietnam and then converted to be used in Battlefield 2.
I'm sure if there had been other modders to help, those issues would have been corrected. I love this mod, even with it's issues, partly because I've always been obsessed with Vietnam based games, plus I respect any one who is willing to spend time creating free material for these fantastic games. .
He eventually continued working on the mod and released a free standing version to help towards the costs he'd incurred. It's available on Steam for £7.99 (when not on Sale) and is called Eve of Destruction - REDUX VIETNAM and is available via the following link (though you need to be logged into your Steam account It does not require Battlefield 2 to be installed; not that it is available via steam any more as it was removed a few years ago:

Okay that's an incredible story he really put quite alot of dedicated work into the vietnam mod..very dedicated modder that's why i would also like to see an awesome updated vietnam mod..i think even games such as Squad is bringing out a vietnam mod for there game..Project Reality i do believe has some Vietnam jungle type maps..jungle warfare maps are almost always super fun to play..thanks again and i'll check out the links now :)
