This can be used in combination with any texture packs or add-ons.
To make adjustments to ENB, alter the enbseries.ini configuration settings file, found in the main folder.
To make adjustments to Sweetfx, go to \SweetFX\Presets and alter the KOAReckoning.txt file.
The default settings file is located in the main folder, SweetFX_settings.txt. However, it is not used for the settings as the SweetFX_preset.txt file is directing it to the presets folder (alter to match, if you make change to location or name of settings file).

Alter ENB and SweetFX settings as you like.

I hope you find these programs and adjustments helpful at making your Kingdoms Of Amalur game more enjoyable.

It does make the game more enjoyable, but it also breaks the recorders ability to record them for some no good reason, without them it works brilliantly, but with them the recorders have their own problems

Ah you mean video recording software. Yes for FRAPS it seems to cause an issue, although it isn't limited to these add-ons it occurs with most ENB. Bandicam will record ENB or you can try this also Mirillis.com

Is it a problem if the game is not on my C: drive because the mods isn't working for me.

No the location shouldn't matter. Try enabling the splitscreen in the preset file and see if it's running that way. Some games don't show the ENB text at game start and will only work manually with the setups. I'll look at getting a reshade and sweetfx version made later when I get some more time.

This just makes the game way too dark. All i can see are the magic effects from my sustained spell on my character.

Goto the sweetfx/preset folder and open the setting file there, disable the smaa line (set to 0), that is usually what will cause it to darken and become over-saturated with some video cards.

I want to ask:
i put the files in my gamefolder, but upon starting up the game and loading a save, i see nothing, other than blurred shadows, and everything is too bright - so i followed what a person in a video by the name of -Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning ENB or Reshade with SweetFX HD Setup- says, and edited a file from d3d9 to d3d11, and omitted the other file, cause it isnt in the folder that one can download from here (ENB with SweetFX), started up the game, and it looks the same.
What am i doing wrong, how do I fix it to work?
I did read through what you have in the first comment, but making changes in the txt file does not help, as i can only change one of the external wrappers, because the other one does not exist.

Hi,

You don't change the filenames for the newest version.
Due to a change in windows 10, the ENB files were altered slightly, removing the need to rename any files.
As outlined in this video Youtu.be

You normally just place them as they are and if you have an issue with the graphics, then alter the d3d9.dll with one of the 4 contained in the altd3d9 folder.
If you rename that file it will not work, the file that would have been renamed was the dxgi.dll which is not included in the updated version.

Try switching out the d3d9.dll with one of the alts in the altd3d9 folder to see if that will correct your issue, don't rename any of the files.

If none of the alternate enb d3d9's work, then remove the files and use the reshade with sweetfx version.

Get back to me.

Hi,

Try increasing the games brightness to bring up the shadowed areas. I actually disabled the smaa line in the updated version, set the brightness to about 3/4 on the bar and that should help bring up those areas.

Also if you check the sweetfx preset folder that's where the settings file is located. I use mainly settings that will help to bring up the natural colors in the game and help to sharpen and improve it's over look with HDR, AA, Vibrance, Curves and other settings.

The vibrance line will help to reduce the saturation. Set it to 0.10 from the 0.30 setting.
The HDR lines will help to also bring up the lighting.
#define HDRPower 1.30 Change to 1.15 (brings up the shadows)
#define radius2 0.87 change to 0.90 (increases light intensity)

Once installed you can also alter the sweetfx preset files with other effects files here Sfx.thelazy.net
Any of the 1.5 or down versions can be used with this, you just rename the new file to match the old settings file name so it will use the new settings preset. The original one just add old to its name, so the preset uses the new one.

The reshade and sweetfx also uses the same settings but can be switched with the settings files upto the 2.0. It has more settings available if you wanted to also alter that one. It's also abit brighter, the reshade acts abit different then the ENB.

As far as mods for the game, they are rather limited as the company that made it went under, and unfortunately they never made it so you could really mod it much past the graphics add-ons you find with ENB, SweetFX or Reshade.

I think there are a few cheat engines but not much else.
As far as your youtube channel that's totally fine let me have the link. Mines Youtube.com, been ill the last month so haven't been doing my commentaries, but I try to keep up. And any help is appreciated.

Download the newest version of winrar from the link, some older versions will give that error if they are older than the version used.
