This was created by Hayabusa, originally for the Merc's mod. Hayabusa had left the BOM (Black Op's Mercenaries) SF mod group to create his own mod due to differences. This was one of his early BF2 maps created for his Merc's mod. Most of his maps also worked with vanilla. It was one of the first of his custom maps for BF2 I came across before I joined his modding team back in 2006. (He'd previously created maps for BFV).
He'd previously re-skinned several BF2 maps using the original Valve navmeshed cleverly integrating the navmesh into his own maps. You can find most of Hayabusa's maps via the main sites that still hold BF2 mods and maps. there are a few missing, but I think I've found most of them.
