Doom 3 BFG Mod launcher v1.1
============================

This app was created for people of Doom 3 community who want to play old Doom 3 mods using Doom 3 BFG Edition.
The app is provided on as-is basis, unsupported. Not all mods can be successfully used with Doom 3 BFG Edition.

Requirements (mostly for RBDoom 3 BFG)
======================================
+ Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 (although tested only on Windows 7 64bit Pro, it's 32bit app)
+ DirectX 9.0c redist installed (or whatever latest DX9 redist)
+ MSVC2010 redist

Installation of the launcher
============================
Unzip contents of the launcher archive into your *\SteamApps\common\DOOM 3 BFG Edition\ folder. If asked to overwrite files,
say Yes (base/ folder with new GLSL shaders will be merhed into existing base/ folder).
Run d3bfg_mod_launcher.exe and follow instructions.
If you don't see any mods in the dropdown menu, it means you don't have any.

Installation of mods
====================
Download mod archive and unzip the contents of the archive into *\SteamApps\common\DOOM 3 BFG Edition\
Run d3bfg_mod_launcher.exe and follow instructions.

Support and bug reports
=======================
Once Linux support is added to the launcher, I might release the source code on Github.
Until then feel free to discuss it on the forums viewforum.php?f=28
Please report bugs related to the RBDoom 3 BFG to Github.com
Bug related to mods should be reported to the mod authors (contact info should be available in the txt file inside mod folder)

Known bugs
==========
Probably quite a few.
If you follow instructions, you shouldn't have too many problems running launcher and mods.

License

Use launcher however you please for non-commercial purposes. If you want to re-distribute launcher on DVDs for magazines,
or through online portals, please contact me to obtain my permission.
Always provide credits and links to Kot in Action website and forums when linking/mentioning this app on your blog/twitter/facebook/website/forum/etc.

RBDoom 3 BFG
============
The launcher is packaged together with RBDoom3BFG.exe for your convenience. It's an outdated version I happened to have compiled.
If you need to get a hold of its source code for any reason, please visit Github.com and get it.

Doom 3 BFG mods
===============
I do not own or claim any copyright on mods converted for Doom 3 BFG. The content of the mods belongs to their respective owners.
I simply tweaked it to be Doom 3 BFG compatible and packaged it.
Some mods 100% compatible, some are not. Feel free to contact authors of the mods and ask them to fix their maps/scripts to be compatible with
Doom 3 BFG.
