Same, this why i decided to port this map over AIX2. The main reason is, i want to play this map in AIX2 with my brother on LAN, sadly we can't play Alpha Project because of the startup interface not working for some reason.
Great map. 👍 Probably more appropriate for the AIX 2 section of the site though.

You did get permission from JONES or his team for the upload? Some mod authors don't like their content being separated from their mods.
Tbh i didn't. But probably he wouldn't mind since i credited him in the description.
Also i noticed people doesn't really check or comment to the stuff posted on AIX2 section of the site, that's why i decided to post it on BF2 section.

To the people who downloaded the map had crash while loading the map: The file is updated, apperantly i missed some things while i'm renaming the map name. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks, I wondered why it was crashing. I'd really like to use this in my mod. Guess I'd need to delete all the AIX assets from the gameplayobjects.con and the strategicareas.ai, right?
Only AIX assets from the gameplayobjects.con, might wanna get permission from JONES for using in mod though because this map belonged to Alpha Project mod. Tbh i didn't also get permission.

BF2 is one of my top 10 games I've ever played. Been playing it since it was released 16 years ago (this month) It replaced my then favourite games Battlefield Vietnam, Men of Valor and America's Army v2.5

I'm glad to see this type of comments but i like to point out that i just port maps right now, soon or in future i hope i'll do maps as well.
But anyway, glad that i can contribute to bf2 community. It's nice to see people still like this game even though years pass.

I'm trying to port Alpine Train as well at the moment, couldn't figure out the CTD at 15 , if i manage to fix it i'll share that one as well.
EDIT: Managed to work it.
Better ask AP team if it is OK to port em over (also manner of respect).
Some time ago someone uploaded AP-Dust here, lots of complaints and finally it was removed.

What will happen if I use this map to play on the original battlefield 2 ???
You can load it up the level but you'll be having kit error and aix2 resupply kits and vehicles will be missing. Init.con must be edited in order to make it work on vanilla bf2. Also you should have booster packs or you'll be missing booster vehicles as well.
