This mod fixes the accuracy of the mini maps for Yavin IV, Death Star, Kamino, Mustafar, & Mos Eisley.
-----Installation-----
locate you Battlefront II file location, then navigate to gamedata/data/lvl_pc, then replace the respective maps with the ones from this download.
-----Description-----
This mod improves the accuracy of the mini maps used on Death Star, Yavin IV, and Mos Eisley. There may be other inaccuracies on other maps, but these three had the most glaring issues. I may do others in the future, time will tell.
----Changes to Minimaps----
Death Star:
- Your position and others is accurate on the mini map
- Added in the trash compactor room
- Added in missing walls that weren't in original
- Connected the passageway in the detention block cell
- The bridge now shows correctly in the central area
Yavin IV:
- Your position and others is accurate on the mini map
- Added stair indicators that appear throughout the map that are similar to the ones at CP2
- Extended the map boundary so you're not off the map at CP1
- Added indicators of where the slopes up the main temple are.
Mos Eisley:
- Your position and others is accurate on the mini map
- Added several missing buildings around the border
- Added indicators for ridges connecting buildings that were originally missing
Kamino:
- Your position and others is accurate on the mini map
- Added several missing platforms/bridges
- Fixed the room in the cloning facility on the left to show the correct location.
Mustafar:
- Your position and others is accurate on the mini map
- Removed several rooms/walls that aren't in game.
- Added several missing doors/walls
- Fixed the widths of several corridors
Coruscant:
- Your position and others is accurate on the mini map
- Removed the random squares scattered throughout the map
- Added several missing walls
- Fixed the widths of several corridors
-----v2 changes-----
For v2 I hex-edited the mini maps into the stock vanilla maps to improve stability and reduce crashes when playing multiplayer. I also cleaned up some areas on Death Star and Yavin IV.

Added fixed mini map for Kamino
I also cleaned up the Death Star map and made the detention block corridor rooms the correct shapes. Also added one more missing wall that I missed.

Added fixed mini map for Mustafar.

Added fixed mini map for Coruscant, also added comparison photos.

If this mod continues in the future, would it be possible to combine Mos Eisley's and hypothetical new minimaps with auri0n's fixed maps? While personally I primarily run BF2R's reskins, even if those potentially get these and the hypothetical future minimaps, I would still love to see the best vanilla versions get the same treatment. auri0n hasn't been seen on Mod DB since 2021 at the time of writing, but hopefully there'll be a way to make this happen.

I really hope you at least give the rest of the stock maps the same love, but with all that said, thank you for what you've done here!
Funny you mention that, I actually have hex edited the improved maps into that map for personal use. I haven’t released it here since I don’t have permission to use those files. I may create a modpack in the future that features that though.
