Pons Ora was one of the few settlements on the desert planet Abafar. It was located amidst the planetary desert known as The Void. It had water quarries, which were quite rare on Abafar. It also held a spaceport.

Super cool use of Jedi Academy areas, I immediately realized this was one of the Tatooine levels. Would love to see more JKA stuff in Battlefront 2, like maybe the Yavin CTF map.
Thanks! And funny you should mention Yavin CTF, as Smithwillsuffice converted the Jedi Outcast version Moddb.com
The Korriban Maps are also amazing. :D
Seeing as Iden Versio and Mara Jade are the GCW leaders ('Heroes'), I've downloaded this.
Not a bad map, with room for exploration via different pathways - though it's all on the same level, and the rooms are rather empty. Montross isn't a leader I've played as before, and he is an efficient fighter.
The only negative is the Survival mode. It seems to be a mission where you're supposed to enable the droids to escape, whilst holding all of the command posts. Yet, with the game beginning, the droids are marked as enemies, who are attacking your character (a clone commando). The only enemy CP is the one I could not capture as droids kept spawning from it. And when the countdown of 5 minutes were up, with me still having lives left, the game kept going with the clock frozen at 0:00! Either I'm misunderstanding something, or the Survival mode is faulty...
PS: Iden Versio isn't named by her name within the game! Still good to see more established female Star Wars characters used as 'Heroes' by modders, though.
Indeed, Iden has a blank name.
Are you using the CD, DVD, GoG, Steam or Classic Collection version of the game? What language do you play the game in? It's localized in all but Japanese, but I get the comment a lot that certain things have names missing.
I'm trying to narrow down where the problem might be as I never get localization issues reported by my beta testers. They're all either US or UK English players on the GoG version.
Hello Teancum.
Sorry, I don't know what GoG means. Star Wars BF2 is on my laptops, initially via download from the CD - and I am able to add the mod maps to my laptop stored content. I'm a UK resident - and I play the English-language version of the game.
The 'Iden no-name' issue is minor to me. I'm more concerned about the puzzling Survival mode issue that I reported above. Can you please clarify the situation? Thank you.
The timer issue was an oversight by me, but I probably won't patch it. I'm finishing up my last few maps and then mostly retiring from modding Battlefront.
Okay. Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear that you are mostly retiring from modding Battlefront. I have tried several of your mod maps - and you've done a lot of good work. Thank you for your shared output!
German CD version here - but hey, if you retire from doing all the amazing work you did in the past years, no need to look into that, it is a minor thing.
Thank you for all the great work!
Legendary as always.
Been a long time since I posted a comment on here. Good to see people are still releasing maps.
