The Story Thus Far: The Year is 2006, and a lot has happened. American and European forces alike have been attacked more and more in the East, and its only getting worse. Both the US and the EU didn’t really see it as a big threat, until a large supply column for US and European troops was completely destroyed by an ambush of enemy tanks. Those tanks however, were not some old WW2 left overs. They were the latest line of tanks produced in the East. Hello again from the World Rebellion team for C&C Generals Zero Hour

We have an important announcement to make.
Namely, we hope that we can release a public beta of World Rebellion at the end of August, if all goes well we should be able to reach this deadline. Still, we must press that this is not a strictly set date, if something comes up, the release date might change.

The Beta will contain the following:

Soviet Base: All Soviet buildings will be present in the release, though some will be replaced later on

Soviet Units: Many tanks, vehicles and artillery units will be available for you to fight with

Completely new balance system: The entire balance of World Rebellion is very different from the original Zero Hour, especially when it comes to damage and range of weapons. Speed of units and health are also unique for each unit.

New Nuclear Explosion FX: The Soviet Nuclear Missile will have a completely new FX for the explosion and the range is 3 to 4 times that of the Chinese Nuke.

RAC: Some RAC units and buildings will be in the release, such as the Ariete, the Hitfist and the ZSU-57.

UCF: Some UCF units and building will also be in the release, such as the UCF Barracks and more.

New Global Camera Settings: The camera which with you view the battlefield is now placed much higher, and you can zoom in further.

Different Veterancy System: Units will take longer to reach higher ranks, but if they do get them, the difference will definitly be noticable.

Realism: Units, Specifications and weapons are all set to match close to real life while still being well playable.

These are about the things you can expect in the 0.1 release, we will post uopdates as usual as well during all this, though we will be very busy gettin everything ready for the release.
