La Conquête de l'Excellence is a completely transformed and fully translated (french) version of the strategic conquest game Warlords III. Its anticipatory scenario presents a retrograde (fantasy) world where the profitability of universities have become a real popularity argument, generating wars and global plebeian control. It depicts some slogans formerly used by Laval University as " La Conquête de l'Excellence " and "Aujourd'hui Québec, demain le monde".
Carrying the banner of Laval University and acting as "executive vice-president for development and international activities", the player engages him/herself in a revolutionary campaign in four episodes populated by bachelors-knights, lawyers-murderers, presidents, doctors, mayors, and all-powerful Rouge et Or footballers! His/her goal, CONQUERING THE WORLD!
