If how we're making the mod doesn't interest you at all, then have no fear, I've got other news to bring forth. Yixx told me that Wc3:WoW is just about finished with being able to work with 1.24 but should be finalized within a few days. I have my fingers crossed that "a few days" doesn't translate into "a few weeks" like it usually does.
