War of the Servers is about communities facing off in the battlefield. Warring. Attacking. Defending. Capturing. Shooting. It's about a server-full of people warring another server-full of people. The battles may be short, sharp and powerful with 8 players taking on another 8. Or they'll be immense, powering across a landscape to feud with the other 32 players. Some say it's impossible with the Source engine, but we beg to differ. Class systems, dynamic weapons, dynamic maps that have changing routes are part of WotS. Each map is different, new and (hopefully) exciting.

Tanks!

After long hours of research I came to the conclusion that this game needs tanks! Now, that didn't immediately come to mind, but I thought of a way to add plenty of vehicles to this game (cos everyone knows vehicles are fun), but don't worry, I've spent that past week or so vigorously balancing out the vehicles, don't worry we're not going to take a Halo approach where the good ol' tank beats everything (besides a swift melee to the drivers face). Up until recently we was keeping tanks out of the game because well we thought it was a bit over the top.

But, the model is underway, the tank will drive smoothly too. You will have the option of first person or third person. But personally, I'd prefer first person.

Tanks and over large vehicles will only be available on medium to large maps.

Don't worry, we have plenty more to come too. Keep an eye out for our next update where I'll be announcing something pretty big and something we'd like to put into the source engine.
