The more Control Points you capture the faster your workers bring in resources. Each Control Point gives you Command Points which are displayed as a resource. The Score Board lets you know when you need to capture more Control Points by displaying your current Command Points over required Command Points numbers in red. When the numbers are white your Supply Lines are running at maximum rate and you do not need to capture additional Control Points.
Most lower tier units and upgrade do not cost gas. The player can upgrade their main supply line structure (Command Center, Nexus or Hatchery) to either bring in extra Minerals on a supply line or bring in Gas. This idea allows player to choose to go low tier mass units or higher tier (units requiring Gas) units.
The Gas cost for many lower-tier units and upgrades has been removed. This diversifies and makes more extreme the unit combos and unit ratios in the game. A player will be able to rush harder with basic (Mineral only) units or focus primarily on Vespene Gas requiring high tier units but you will have less Minerals when harvesting more Vespene Gas.
Terran Specific Modifications
Marauders and Reapers cost no Gas.
Tech Lab, Reactor, Stimpack, Marine Combat Shield and Concussive Grenades upgrades cost no Gas.
Ghost Mineral cost raised to 250 and costs no Gas and is availabe at the Barracks without needing the Nuke Silo.
Cylone hitpoints increased from 120 to 140.
Medivac cost changed to 200 Minerals and no Gas. Medivac added to Oribital Command.
Barracks cost from 150 Minerals to 100 Minerals.
Missile Turret cost to 75 Minerals.
Command Center Mineral cost to 500.
Supply Depots offer 2x Supply Count.
Protoss Specific Modifications
Stalkers Adepts and Sentries cost no Gas.
Warpgate upgrade costs no Gas.
Twilight Council costs no Gas.
Blink upgrade costs no Gas.
Zealot Charge upgrade costs no Gas.
Adept Glave attack speed upgrade costs no Gas. Zealot Charge upgrade costs no Gas.
Immortal range increased from 6 to 7 and Gas cost raised from 100 to 150.
Archons have Blink ability after Blink upgrade.
Observer built at Nexus and costs 75 Minerals and no Gas.
Gateway cost from 150 Minerals to 100 Minerals.
Pylon cost reduced to 50 Minerals.
Mothership Core Mineral cost increased to 150 and costs no Gas.
Photon Cannon cost reduced to 100 Minerals.
Nexus Mineral cost to 500.
Pylons provide pemanent Guardian Shield.
Sentry provides permanent Guardian Shield.
Zerg Specific Modifications
Hatchery cost to 700 Minerals.
Roach Mineral cost to 100 Minerals and no Gas.
Hydralisk cost no Gas.
Zergling speed upgrade costs no Gas.
The upgrade to Lair costs no Gas.
Overseer costs no Gas.
Spire Gas cost raised to 300.
Spine Crawler cost reduced by 50 Minerals.
Spore Crawler cost reduced by 50 Minerals.
The Virophage structure that the Zerg get for capturing a point creates one Creep Tumor and has Blinding Cloud and Infusion spells.
Overlords cost 150 Minerals.
