Setting up game mechanics right now. This will be a short horror game with vibes from sweden. You play as a highschool teenager who sets out with his 2 friends on a weekend to explore the abandoned Hällnäs sanatorium in the vast swedish backcountry of Västerbotten. A short playable demo will be released in a couple of weeks.

Okay. So this evening or tomorrow depending on how much time I have i'm going to do a basic lean left/right and then im pretty much done with the basic controls, yeah crunch also of course but thats gonna go fast.

Okay. So this evening or tomorrow depending on how much time I have i'm going to do a basic lean left/right and then im pretty much done with the basic controls, yeah crunch also of course but thats gonna go fast.


Then i'm just gonna do a camera zoom in/zoom out and a nightvision feature, and finish a nice camera 3D model. With that done the only two things remaning before i start mapping the levels is a inventory system and a basic HUD for the flashlight and camera power, sprinting power(mabey) and healtbar(mabey).

Im looking forward to start mapping since thats were the magic happens. But it feels quite good with the basic mechanics done and a small game on release.

This is going to be a stand alone game and not a mod btw.
