Unreal Tournament 3 mod |

Tikiwiki is a UT3 MOD set on the island of Ahi’Wai. Two tribes, the Sariswati (Water Tribe) and the Ignatus (Fire Tribe), are struggling to survive as the resources they require to survive are dwindling mysteriously. They do not like conflict, and will do anything to avoid outright war and bloodshed. The tribes have come up with a system of gathering resources in a competitive nature as the elders work to find the truth behind the disappearing resources. The tribes have put forth their fastest and their brightest to help gather the resources through a fast paced junction capturing tournament.

Tikiwiki has approximately 4 weeks until it is supposed to launch, and there is a lot of work to do between now and then.

Introduction

This news post covers our current plan for the next week and beyond.

Our Plan

We have 3 main milestones left to reach. Our first upcoming milestone is known internally as "Grumpy" and is due in just under 1 week on February 25th. The following is a quick list of the tasks we have set to complete for it.

Art Team

  • Characters near 100%
  • Animations complete, tweaking aside
  • Loading screen images and Videos first pass
  • HUD art assets complete
  • FrontEnd Assets complete
  • Emitter textures completed

Design Team

  • Emitters updated with new textures
  • Instruction booklet first pass
  • Audio packages are compiled
  • Documents updated

Programming Team

  • Animation tree is implemented
  • Loading screens implemented
  • HUD is updated with new art assets
  • Stealing tablets bug fixed
  • Installer is complete
  • FrontEnd is updated with new art assets

After Grumpy we have 2 other milestones:

  • Sleepy – Due March 11th
  • Dopey – Due March 18th

We then have a presentation on March 20th from 6pm to 7pm to show our game to other students, family, friends, and industry professionals, this is also when we will release the game here on ModDB

Over the next week we shall be making several other posts, adding new screenshots, and adding new
videos.
