The website for Battlefield: Tiberian Eclipse has gone live! Battlefield: Tiberian Eclipse is a total conversion mod for Battlefield 2142 set the in the Command & Conquer universe. It takes place around the time of Tiberian Sun and will have vehicles, weapons, and units that long term fans of the C&C games will be able to recognize, but players new to the game will also be able to enjoy.
If you want more information about the mod itself, you can head on over to the website and click the info tab for a full overview of the mod. There are also screen shots and renders of what we have done so far under their respective sections (units, weapons, vehicles, etc.). The website also includes fully functional forums where you can discuss the game and ask questions of the developers. You can also fill out an application if you are interested in working on the mod.

The mod is new so the developers are open to a lot of ideas, so if this sounds like something you would be interested in, get over there are tell them your ideas. Hopefully, with good interaction between the community and developers, this can be a mod that everyone can enjoy!

Kinda funny how many Tiberian mods there still are even after EA's Tiberium revision. If this trend continues then it means Tiberian Sun's dark yet rich universe is more interesting and enjoyable.
