The Shades features multiple enviroments, its own story/backstory, random events along with realism added such as player viewbob. The first enviroment is mostly mapped out with some random occuring events. Detail will be added along with alot more events, sounds and a better atmosphere. All music is made by us. The whole idea of this mod is to demonstrate how music can be a huge influence when creating scary atmosphere and fear in the player, and to demonstrate music technology skills. At the same time we can provide an experience for players who are willing to play The Shades. This is heavily inspired by very popular mod 'Underhell' by Mxthe and the WeCreateStuff Team. We are not copying their mod and no violation of Underhell's property is intended. We are making this from scratch with our own story, enviroment and events. The mod is intended for full release April 2012, but chapters may be released early.

This will just be saying why we stopped the mod, and telling you what will probably happen..

So as you may of noticed the mod stopped getting updates for about 5 months, this was due to college getting in the way. We would always talk about how much we wanted this project to continue how ever due to college wearing us out (40 minuet walk there and 40 minuets back) we never got round to doing anything worth an update.

The thing is with college is that it just wore us out to the point that we didn't have any effort to mod any more, we still had idea's just not enough effort as college work was getting difficult and also our YouTube channel was also beginning to strain a little.

However we have now finished college and have a 3 month break from college so work on the mod will continue.

I think now that we have had some time originally expected. We have a few idea's in mind for scares and story twists but i think we still need a lot of time to work this out.
