It was also said that on the very rarely on the most bitter-cold nights the loud "IT'S GREEN AND PISSED" were echoing through the night, sending a chill done the spine of every soldier. (Translations of old folklore make it often sound more cute and innocent than they were. The actual words could have been also: "IT'S GREEN AND SLIMED" or "IT'S TEEN AND GRIMED".)
