What if the Republic Of Texas had never been pressured into joining the Union? Could it have successfully navigated the political and economical minefields of the times? Take control of the Republic of Texas on the eve of one of the greatest wars in the history of mankind. Will Texas remain neutral? Will they support the United States as it goes to war? After many delays, setbacks, and reinstallations of the game I am pleased to announce Texas Rising is here! A special Thank You to users Paglia and YUGULO. Without their help this never would've gotten this far.

Texas Rising

What if the young Republic of Texas had never voted to join the United States? What if it had remained sovereign during the American Civil War? Could it have successfully survived the Spanish-American War, and World War I?

Take control of an independent Texas on the eve of the Greatest War in History. Will you stay close to the United States? Assisting American troops across one or both theaters of war? Will you stay true to the flag and remain neutral, by force if needed? Or perhaps a darker approach...

No longer under the protection of the United States, Central and South America are ripe for the taking. This could be the chance to expand the Republic to new heights. There remains another option however, one the Allies fear greatly. Texas is in the position to support the Axis powers in driving a sword through the heart of the "sleeping giant". A staging ground for a Nazi invasion of the Americas? A drive through the heartland of the United States to cut the West Coast off from the East on behalf of the Empire of Japan?

The choice is yours.

This is a very early release, work will continue on this mod. There are many planned features yet to come. Please report all bugs in detail.
