This is an installer for a Star Wars Battlefront II Xbox addon.
Release trailer here: Youtu.be
For this package to install correctly you must have already installed the Official Update from Pandemic (as the game did not ship with the ability to add levels, it is normally called "SW BF II DLC Installer").Transfer the (unzipped) package to somewhere on your modded XBOX or modded XBOX 360 and execute the 'default.xbe' located within.
========================== Modded Xbox 360 Users ===============================
This installer and content has been confirmed to work on a Modded Xbox 360 Playing SWBFII.But to play any SWBFII DLC on Xbox or Xbox 360 you'll need to ensure you have the Game Update from Pandemic (which included "default.xbe, common.lvl, core.lvl, ingame.lvl, shell.lvl").That update will either need to be installed under the correct 'TDATA' folder location oryou can take those files from the update and replace the ones that shipped with the game ================================================================================
Note: This is an altered version of the Original map. Due to the XBOX only having 64MB of RAM and a 700MHz CPU it was not possible to keep the map as it was in 2007 release on the PC.
- Vehicles and Heros are removed with 3-4 controllers plugged in
- Fences and larger models were removed due to slow rendering and memory limitations on the XBOX.
While this one is outdated, for anyone who is considering downloading this or the updated one, I want to point out an advantage this one has over the updated one.
This map is much "easier" compared to the updated (V2) map, as without the vehicles and heroes on split screen, it makes for a bit of an easier time to explore the map. I also think it runs SLIGHTLY better this way, so if you are looking for better performance, than this IS the way to go, because, at least from what I remember, this version does run a little better.
