Shifting Sands is a Post Scriptum Community Mod in development with the aim of re-creating the battles from the North African campaign of WWII. The team is a small group from within the PS Community which aims to create the maps, equipment, vehicles, and uniforms from the various factions that took part. We all share is a passion for history, and for accurately re-creating one of the most dynamic and also under-represented theatres of the Second World War. We are very happy to announce that we will be hosted by PS Official Partner, the great DanegerousDB in a LIVESTREAM this evening, 8 April 2022 21:00 BST, over on his Twitch channel /danegerousdb.

In this event we will be doing a “Battlefield Tour” of our first map Hill 209, showcasing all of the work we have done in the past 12 months. This will include a look at our new vehicles, weapons, uniforms, and more.

We will be talking about the history of the Western Desert campaign and how it became the inspiration for the mod. DaneDB will be asking us questions about the work we've done and also what the future holds. We are looking forward to sharing our work with you!

Following this, on Sunday, 10 April 2022 21:00 there will be a closed playtest, showing gameplay of Shifting Sands for the first time. This will give you guys a taster of what to look forward to later this year! We are collaborating with a number of the best PS partners, including: Vade, FriendlyNikolai, Nano, Cornholepatrol, Sherman, Rimmy, Miha8, boogie5, sermattex90, The_Yazoo, and more! They will be reporting straight from the frontline and giving you a close-up view of the combat in North Africa, 1941!

We would like to thank the PS community for all your support over the last nearly 2 years of development of the mod. This project would not be where it is without us knowing that you the community is engaged with the work we are doing, and shares the same passion for the history of this theatre of WWII that we do. We hope to bring this to life in a unique way that compliments the already fantastic gameplay Post Scriptum has to offer.

See you there! :ShiftingSands:
