A single-player total conversion of Cube2-Sauerbraten with focus on adding rpg/adventure elements. The goal is to make gamebuilding as fun as playing a game, with intuitive menus and guides to help anyone make their own open-source rpg/adventure game, without prior knowledge of programming or 3D-modeling.

SabiCube 1.0 rc1 is ready for testing in the github repository : Github.com

This release includes binarys for both 64 and 32-bit, so all you have to do is:

1. download the repository as a zip-file from here : Github.com
2. extract zip-file
3. rename the extracted folder "sabicube-master" to "sabicube"
4. place it in your home dir
5. execute sabicube_unix

I plan to make an official 1.0 release here on ModDb, once I feel confident that there are no game-breaking errors.

EDIT 17 Aug.:
I did a quick runthrough of ZetaProject (took me about 25min), and found a bunch of errors.
I have just updated github with a lot of bugfixes, and a whole new savegame system that includes inventory-items, journal-entrys and character-stats.

EDIT 18 Aug:
I have just updated github with bugfixes for mapswitching and savegames.
The first chapter of ZetaProject should now be playable all the way through, and the engine will make automated savegames whenever a map is completed, so you no longer have to start from the beginning every time.

EDIT 21 Aug:
Just played the game on my old laptop, and was reminded that libsdl-mixer and libsdl-image are required to play the game. These two should be available in the repository of every respectable linux-distro, and if you are on a deb-based distro like Ubuntu, you can install them with:
sudo apt-get install libsdl-mixer1.2 libsdl-image1.2
