After a few weeks of adding and calculating ai, I have finally completed adding them and their rough movement and cover nodes.
The AI are more accurate than normal even on the easiest difficulties and so are your allies,they are constantly throughout the level except for the areas which will give players time to catch their breath and explore.
The AI are also stronger in different parts of the level (choke points). Ive tried to keep the level of flood spawners (AI that constantly respawns) to a minimum to simulate a worn out Russian Army.
There are two main boss areas which control major parts of the level and are deadlier than regular soldiers.
The player will need to take cover constantly and different paths will trigger different enemies to mix it up a bit,while the level is mainly linear, several areas allow the player alternate paths.
