Due to circumstances beyond our control, Likewise and I have decided that the path which Project Serpent is on is not the best choice for the overall project. As such the project as it stands now will be closed. We will work to release the teaser as a “thank you” to all the people who have helped Project Serpent become what it has, but as said before the current incarnation will not be completed.
Rest assured that this will not be the end of Project Serpent. We are currently in discussion about a new direction involving a new engine for the project, though nothing has been announced formally. Be sure to stay tuned at the Maelstrom Dreams Entertainment forums for the latest information on the state of Project Serpent as a whole.
