In a room full of electronics that has been reconstructed after the Wheatley incident, some androids discover a strange "Atlas" model. One core recognizes his old unfinished experiment. Having recieved aprooval of GLaDOS to continue the experiment, he starts doing testing in a wing where there's no place for humanity

Hello! After an incredibly long period of silence, we are ready to present you the 3rd chapter. We are glad to see you at the Aperture Robotics.

What comes next?

After the impenetrable darkness of the 2nd chapter, something new comes, the 3rd chapter presents a new direction of laboratory development. Aperture Robotics is an autonomous part of the complex, which is developing in parallel with the main enrichment center. Here, new robot models are tested separately from humans. Aperture Robotics provides a wide range of opportunities for experiments, new methods of logistics and information processing allow to dynamically rebuild tests immediately after their completion, as well as allocate resources more efficiently.

The new structure of the test chambers is a very elegant solution to the problem of very time-consuming construction of new puzzles. By removing the ceiling and replacing the observation rooms with hundreds of cameras, you can easily save time creating one such puzzle. The new wall material is made of cheaper materials, but their structure using the shape of hexagons allows them to double their strength. There are also cozy lamps hanging from the ceiling.

Aperture Robotics looks very contrasting against the background of the second chapter. While the ruins left by Wheatley plunged the player into solitude, in the new part of the complex everything seems more saturated and mobile. Drones inspect you from above, androids just do their job, turrets are waiting for the command to open fire, and these microdudes... well, uh…

Is there something about innovations? Hmmmmm… A new model of portal gun!
The new quantum tunneling device has a built-in interface that allows the working staff to see the status of all portal gun systems. Well, while it is not in debugging mode, the Aperture Science logo flickers on it, which changes color when shooting portals.

This is where article comes to an end. We have been developing maps for 3rd chapter for a very long time, it is still in the process of polishing. An incredibly strong desire to create something unusual has borne fruit. We hope you like it)
