um this is cool artwork but someone really did beat you to the concept (in source, no less), as beez-one already pointed out...i dont know if you should keep it the way it is because it is really similar. unless you guys are secretly working together...
Hmm... To tell the truth, we haven't seen something similar to this concept as well as the mentioned project. There are some differences/ thpugh - don't they have a picture of that character from the front (like ours), not from the back?
We've thought of such a character after seeing old electrical lamps which were used before invention of microchips (see Savok.name Elec.ru Skotovozik.users.photofile.ru).
We liked the "architecture" of these lamps, and we had an idea to make a character whose head would resemble a glowing elecrical lamp . It is mighty sad that the idea we thought to be original is already used somewhere. We'll have to change the character or completely delete him and rewrite the plot. =(
You don't need to change it nor remove it, the character from Canvas doesn't have a light bulb in place of its head, more a lava lamp in some sort (see Canvasgame.com). Also, even though I've followed a bit the Canvas mod before it was canceled/paused, I did not think of this character when I first saw your architect model.
