Description
The 1.1 version features a major overhaul with the stages in the game! The entire endgame scheme has been reworked, featuring three major locations: Kehjistan, Western Kingdoms and the Wastelands. There are many other features, such as character corpses spawning in town after death, and more.

Any one crashing when pressing the ALT key?
Yep, it has been reported on the official forum, hopefully will get fixed soon. In the meantime, to "kind-of" circle around this inconvenience, you might enjoy using a nice tool supported by MXL2017 called D2Stats Update: Forum.median-xl.com
Now should be fixed, re-download the mod.

Is there any offline PDF documentation like the late Median XL Ultimative?

Right now it's the only offline version of the documentation. But it's not an official archive so, if the devs make changes to the official documentation, this will be outdated very soon.

Да любой популярный (и, конечно же, забаненный без обхода) торрент-трекер имеет последние версии, а ещё можно купить на battle.net (только для СНГ цены сделали как в Европе, так что с официальным аддоном придётся отвалить в районе 1000 ₽). А вот ранних версий для старых модов уже редко где встретишь.

I just installed and now my game crashes when attempting to create a 'game'....
With this much info it sounds like 3 things:
-you're using PlugY and it's not loading the MXL core
-DEP exeption problem
-Compatibility problem
