The Legion Expansion is Planetary Annihilation's first fully 3rd party faction modification. Adding in the Imperial Legion, a fully compatible, AI capable set of units and buildings to enhance the experience of PA. This mod exists due to the communities wish for a second fully realized army to conquer the galaxy with. PA is nothing without its cooperative teamplay on large systems. The Legion is fully compatible with simultaneous team games and comes with a modified Queller AI, allowing offline skirmish play. The Legion comes with its own set of commanders that grant the controlling player access to the Legion unit set. Simply select either commander in the lobby and deploy! A special thanks to those who have offered support and followed this mod from conception to its current state, on behalf of the entire team we hope that you will enjoy our work.

Legion Commander awaits the end

  • Added ability to hold fire to Spoiler mines
  • Imperator now launches drones against ground targets
  • Performance improvements to Salamander and its turret

Balance

Legion troops skirmish with MLA forces

  • Havoc buff
    • Weapon starts fully charged
  • Black Knight buff
    • Speed, acceleration and deceleration increased from 14 to 20
  • Deathmark buff
    • Rate of fire changed from 7 to 6
  • Stoke buff
    • Speed increased from 13 to 14
  • Mass Extractor buff
    • Metal cost decreased from 240 to 220
  • Imperator change
    • Launches drones against ground targets
    • Orbital to ground damage decreased from 300 to 50

Fixes

Nova hovers over a Legion base

  • Starcannon unit pods now always visible
  • Epoch shots blocked by Ramparts
  • Purgers from Necromancers now correctly grouped with Purgers built from factories
