IMPORTANT: The optimization work made it impossible to put a lower preset, everything must be set to the maximum, because I have removed all the low resolution models and textures, in any case the version that you always download is already configured in this way, you should change nothing except the screen resolution. When you start the game for the first time, close it and open it again, this is for the FX effects to be applied. It is not necessary to install anything, just unzip the file and enjoy, maybe you should tweak options.ini by changing the screen resolution but not much more.Play at 4K: If you want to play and fully enjoy JPOG with hundreds of dinosaurs, a park full of visitors, and at the same time at a 4K/60fps resolution, you need to have at least a Radeon RX 470 or a GTX 1650. if your monitor is 1080p like mine you will see a big difference when playing at 4K, it provides more sharpness and decreases jaggedness, you need to create a custom resolution and then put the resolution in options.ini

Is there a way to move saves from one version to another, I'm new to this so sorry if this has already been answered?
It depends, there is not usually much compatibility between mods, so it is very likely that when you want to transfer a saved game to another mod it will not work, in the case of my versions I have been able to transfer a saved game from version 1.4 to the latter, the 1.9.1, and it works fine
Also what does it mean by "failed to create the display. Please run the Jurassic park setup to reconfigure"? It seems that some versions need this while others don't. The only one that I checked that didn't have this error was (V1.4)
Man, you have to change screen resolution in Options.ini, yes, i am gonna put 720p next time, when you download this it is set to 4K, you have to change it to your monitor res
Thanks, sorry if this was a hassle
No problem, thanks for comment :) let me know what do you think about the game, if you like it, if not, i love to know what people think
Reed the description, all the details are there :) hope you can enjoy it my friend
I did read it, I just realized now that I forgot the 'p' after putting down the resolution. Also great mod, I would kill to see an option (if possible) that allows biome variety, so like a desert island or a snowy biome, but I doubt that it's possible. Also I personally wish the camera controls were better, It's not your fault how strange it is but maybe if it's possible it could get changed. Instead of zooming in and the camera going into a more first person kind of perspective which is annoying to control, and how about just actually looking at the dinosaurs from a closer top angle perspective that doesn't feel jarring. But over all this is great. I personally like the use of "Around the Jurassic World" in the soundtrack, always makes me feel great when building my parks.
Understanding perfectly about the camera, it was precisely a downgrade that I was forced to do with respect to version 1.8, because for some reason there are certain trees that cause problems with camera angles that are very different from the original version of the game, it's something that I am going to take care of solving in the next version (2.0) because it is a shame to have to reduce the quality of the camera controls, I will try it, and regarding an option that allows changing biomes it is a great idea, that the I'm going to do it in fact, I don't know if soon, but at some point I will do it without any doubt, coincidentally today I saw a video of the same thing, a JPOG mod that was desert, like JWE2 that you can see at the beginning that it is a desert , or something similar, that's what I'm going to do as soon as I can further polish the default version, there can't be an option that allows it, what can be done is to have another copy of the game with those cosmetic changes, a default like the one I'm doing now, another one with a desert theme, another with snow (I don't know if it's possible) and the best thing is that since it's just a cosmetic change you can pass your saved games between each of them :)
Sounds great, I think making separate versions for biomes could be really cool, and tbh I think it would be very interesting if there are mods or anything of the sort (maybe reskins or something) that have building types and things like that, that match the environment. The amount of progress as a whole has been great, can't wait for future builds:)
Key note: That mouse sensitivity is just wack, I mean at least my mouse has sensitivity options but the in game option for it barely makes a difference and it still just feels a bit too sensitive. Very minor problem, but I thought I should bring it up anyways.
Hey! I have a problem with the game! When I start a new game, chose the island and it starts to load the map the game quits (crashes). Anything I can doo to fix this? thanks!
I have send you a private message, yes... for some reason the problem is caused by the texture of the sky, if you have downloaded version 1.8 copy the "skynorm" file that is in the "Data" folder, and replace it with the same file in version 1.9.1, the problem It should be solved after that, I hope it works for you, this afternoon I will upload the game again with the problem solved, I thought that this time there would be no problems but the problem is still there, thanks for commenting :)

I tried getting this to work by doing the whole replace 'skynorm' file but it still crashes. In the meantime I tried to go back to V1.8 but that also crashes when loading an island.
Edit: I figured out the crashing for (V1.8), apparently if you have the draw distance at max when loading a new map, it crashes the game, so just starting the map on medium draw distance works.

I was able to open it and play without crashing.
But then again, I first move the setup folder into the mod main folder.
Next, I opened the setup and choose the resolution 1024x768 32 bits. And then play.
Maybe you should include the setup folder too. So players can adjust the resolution to the basic 1024x768 32 bits.
And then if the game runs fine they can edit the options file themselves to change the resolution to whatever they like.
Aside from that, everything looks fine. But I still don't like the video from the main screen though. I think a collage of the gameĀ“s artwork and put it into the background of the main screen.
Or perhaps a short video of the actual game, like some pieces of videos from death duels, electric storms, enclosures, the ranger helicopter flying over.
Also, I guess the white line between the sea and the sky is normal for these backgrounds? Since I have watched some vids and the same line appears.
