Hi everyone,
As promised, Beta 6.1 has now been released for Hearts of Iron III.
This is the last update of Modern Warfare mod for Hearts of Iron III, no future updates will be posted for this versions of the game and the mod will now move to Hearts of Iron IV. Due to the fact that the mod will be posted on the Steam Workshop you can expect this page of the mod to be less active than the Steam page of the mod but I will still post updates here when there are major updates to be posted.
The main features of the version are:
- Added the Libyan civil war
- Reduced the penalties a country gets when attacking another country with a casus beli that has not been authorized by the United Nations.
- Various bug fixes
Questions that may be on your mind:
1. Does this update include the Syrian civil war?
2. Does this update include the Ukranian civil war?
3. Can you play as ISIS in this update?
4. Are there plenty fish in the sea?

Edit: Please note that the support forums at Modernwarfarehoi3.jcink.net? will also be shutting down due to the fact that the game will be using Steam workshop and the steam forums for any bug/feature reports.

Was a good run.
It was pretty good.
At other times it was terrible, HOI 3 is a terrible game to mod so in some ways I am relived knowing that I won't have to mod it ever again :D
Couldn't agree more... The countless hours spent on modding and bugfixing this game... so exhausting :P

Really excited to see the new HoI 4 faction system play a big role in the Modern Warfare mod, like it does in our modern world and its crazy number of factions. I for one would love to see an ASEAN faction led by Singapore :)

According to this description I am not sure it will be featured. Factions in the game are military alliances so any faction that is not a military faction will probably not be included.
Note that it doesn't exclude the fact they will be present in the game as a political system that will give member countries special focuses and events :)
What about give ASEAN members option to make it military aliance?
Helluva run for the mod, in HoI IV it will be even better! Especially with those handy mod tools.

but adding Syrian Civil War and specially ISIS advance on Syria and Iraq, the autonomous government of Iraqi Kurdistan,the Rojava and YPG Revolution in Syrian Kurdistan and glorious defence could be much more fascinating please consider that
