The 5.1 update of Modern Warfare is now live!
This update includes many fixes, changes and additions, while originally intended as a patch only to include OOB's (order of battle) for the various countries, the update has outreached its original goal.
Changes have been made to many aspects of the game/mod and hopefully you will enjoy them and the new version of the mod. The OOB's included in this version are for the following countries:
- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- Russia
- France
- China
- Poland
- Denmark
- Sweden
- Norway
- Finland
- Estonia
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Ukraine
- Czech Republic
- Serbia-Montenegro
- Spain
- Italy
- Portugal
- Turkey
- Iraq
- Belgium
- Netherlands
- Kazakhstan
- Argentina
- Brazil
In addition to these, the 2003 bookmark is now unlocked and fully playable. The bookmark allows you to relive the invasion of Iraq and replay the period both as a member of the coalition forces and Iraq. The invasion should work both as a player controlled invasion and AI controlled invasion.

New Security Council resolutions have been added and some ahistorical scenarios have been implemented into the mod - these will expand further in future versions of the mod. The team has worked around the clock to present to you the most stable version of Modern Warfare yet, if you encounter any bugs/errors please report them in the forums: Modernwarfarehoi3.jcink.net?
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Levi, Ed, Mathias and Jonathan who have been an amazing help to me and without their help 5.1 would be a much more modest update, I have no doubt
they will continue to contribute their hard work and creativity to the mod... thank you guys so much!
Also, a big thanks to Niko92 the author of YAMDAM (Yet Another Modern Day Mod) who has allowed us to use material from YAMDAM and incorporate them into Modern Warfare, I was sad to hear he would no longer be working on the mod and that YAMDAM is discontinued but we will do our best to take the great work done by the YAMDAM team and make it shine in Modern Warfare.

Is this a patch or stand alone update? It seems quite small.

The update is considered a patch for Beta 5 but is installed as a stand alone update just like Beta 5.

This is a great mod and has so much potential. Thanks for the update! Keep working on this because I know it will only get better.

A very good mod. I found one detail which could be corrected. The picture für the M61 autocannon shows a GAU8/A.
We are going to make a rehaul of the tech trees for Beta 6, this has been noted, thanks for the feedback :)
