OMG its torrent idiot!
You should read better before calling somebody else an idiot, he asked why did they compress such a small file, you went ahead of yourself and read it as if he said "why the file is small" implying that he thought the file was too small to contain the mod.
To answer you question Leaufai it's probably because they couldn't upload a file with the torrent extension on ModDB.

click on the download now and download the file and then when the download finishes click on the icon and the torrent will automatically start .
