Los Santos is feeling on its people the consequences of a racist society and a corrupt police due to the economic collapse caused by the big banks and corporations. Everyday, thousands of people struggle to find work so they can pay their bills. Alongside these economic problems, the rise of multiculturalism around San Andreas, is the cause of these racist/ethnocentric/xenophobic hate groups that have been terrorizing immigrants.
Due to all these problems, the youngsters tend to join gangs and enter the criminal world in order to survive through these difficult times. Neo nazi/ racist groups have been recruiting these kids by making immigrants their scapegoats. Hate crimes are committed everyday. This kind of ultranationalism based on ethnicity made a clear stand when swastikas and white power symbols started to appear everywhere around town.
