Geecku's Default ist eine Modifikation für Hearts of Iron IV. Sie ist eine Gameplay Anpassung und verändert die Nationalen Foci jedes Europäischen Landes. Außerdem wird die Regierung erweitert, durch neue Einstellungen kann so z.B. Religion, Pressefreiheit und die Polizei eingestellt werden. Durch die neuen Anpassungen in den Foci sind auch spezielle Regierungseinstellungen möglich. Wie die Schweiz eine Neutrale Regierung hat und die Deutschen eine Militärische. So passt Default jeden Focus an die jeweilige Nation an. Dadurch haben nun die z.B. in Südamerika gelegenen Länder den Standartfocus. Alle in Europa befindlichen Länder besitzen einen eigenen Focus. Die Nationalen Foci werden mit Default eher an die KI angepasst. So sind neue Events der Alternativen Geschichte implementiert, doch liegt der Focus auf der Historischen Lage im 2. Weltkrieg. Default verbessert das Spiel indem es die, in Hearts of Iron III historischen Aspekte in die Reihe zurückbringt.
